Tiny monkey curtains

I had some leftover monkey fabric so I decided "L" needed a little window treatment in his room. It's little, but I did what I could with what I had! I think it's just enough to complete the room. :) Sorry the pic is kinda dark, it looks better on the phone. :)

Mommy's little helper

The past couple of weeks "R" had been extremely excited and eager to help me with dishes. Of course she just loves the water, but she helps too! She rinses and scrubs the dishes and then hands them to me to put in the dishwasher. I didn't let the other girls start helping with them till they were older, but I guess I should have because they actually might like helping me with them now. Oh well, I guess dishes can be our thing. ;)

Banks

I made the girls each a three way bank. A spot for tithing, savings and spending. I just used plastic yogurt containers and hot glued them together, then added scrapbook paper and ribbon. I'm pretty excited with how they turned out! Hopefully we can start a little bit of allowance now and teach them how to manage their money.

Wall makeover!

For our anniversary we took the girls to my mom's house and stayed home to get some things done! The number one thing on my list was to get rid of the, wait for it, CARPETED Wall. Yep, that's what I said. Our wall right when you walked in the door had carpet on it. I have had an idea for the wall for some time now, but never the actual time to do it! So after taking the carpet off and fixing a minor dent that the carpet was hiding, we got it painted and finished! Hopefully the before and after will show up in the right order. ;)

Fish!

The kids got some fish for Christmas! "E"'s fish is the dalmation one, she named it Flower. "W"'s is the Orange one named Creama Creamy Hannah. We call her Creama. ;) And we did have a little one for "R", but sad to report he is already gone...but the others still seem to be healthy and happy!

Christmas 2012

Since getting off of Facebook, I have decided to get back into blogging now, from the phone! We'll see how it does. I guess I'll go back to Christmas for a start! The kids looked great the Sunday before Christmas and we had homemade pizza on Christmas eve. It was a lot of fun!

"W"'s 3rd Birthday!

"W" had her first friend party this year! We invited 3 of her friends from church. Only two of them were able to come, so it was a nice, small party. When they got here we had them all dress up as Princesses. We then took their picture in front of a make shift green screen and put a cute castle behind them and printed the picture for them to take home in a decorated picture frame. They had a little tea party/lunch and played, and had some fun. I made her a castle birthday cake that turned out to be pretty cute! All in all it was a great day for "W"!

Ellory had a good time with the older girls, and of course, loved the cake!

Happy Halloween!

We didn't do any extreme costumes this year, like we did last year, but we still had a good time. "W" was a fairy, like tinkerbell, and "E" was a ladybug. We went to UVU family night, and they got their faces painted and went trick-or-treating, and we also had a little Ward party later in the week.

These are the pumkins we carved this year. Will did Wolverine and Edward (from Twilight), and I did the Cougar. My cougar got second place at our Ward's pumpkin contest!

Backpacking to Coyote Gulch

At the beginning of October, Will and I left the girls at my parents house for 3 days, and went on a backpacking trip! It was a lot of fun, and a great way to get to know each other even better, and to have a 'break' from the girls. (more emotional than physical!) We had a great time. Will is going to be making a video that I will add to the blog later, but here are some pictures!

It was so beautiful down there! I hope we can do more backpacking trips in the future. It's a great getaway, and our campsites definitely beat out The Anniversary Inn! (ok, maybe not comfort-wise, but definitely beauty-wise)

September!!!!

Ok, so I haven't done any blogging since Will's birthday, I know, I'm horrible at this. But there has been a lot that has happened since then! I don't really know where to start, but we will travel back in time to Labor Day weekend. We went up to our family cabin in the Uintas, and Will, the girl's and I went on a few little hiking adventures. We got some cute family pics from there.

At the end of September, we drove around Alpine Loop, by Sundance, and got some great pictures of the changing fall colors, and some cute family pics as well.
