"W"'s 3rd Birthday!

"W" had her first friend party this year! We invited 3 of her friends from church. Only two of them were able to come, so it was a nice, small party. When they got here we had them all dress up as Princesses. We then took their picture in front of a make shift green screen and put a cute castle behind them and printed the picture for them to take home in a decorated picture frame. They had a little tea party/lunch and played, and had some fun. I made her a castle birthday cake that turned out to be pretty cute! All in all it was a great day for "W"!

Ellory had a good time with the older girls, and of course, loved the cake!

Happy Halloween!

We didn't do any extreme costumes this year, like we did last year, but we still had a good time. "W" was a fairy, like tinkerbell, and "E" was a ladybug. We went to UVU family night, and they got their faces painted and went trick-or-treating, and we also had a little Ward party later in the week.

These are the pumkins we carved this year. Will did Wolverine and Edward (from Twilight), and I did the Cougar. My cougar got second place at our Ward's pumpkin contest!

Backpacking to Coyote Gulch

At the beginning of October, Will and I left the girls at my parents house for 3 days, and went on a backpacking trip! It was a lot of fun, and a great way to get to know each other even better, and to have a 'break' from the girls. (more emotional than physical!) We had a great time. Will is going to be making a video that I will add to the blog later, but here are some pictures!

It was so beautiful down there! I hope we can do more backpacking trips in the future. It's a great getaway, and our campsites definitely beat out The Anniversary Inn! (ok, maybe not comfort-wise, but definitely beauty-wise)

September!!!!

Ok, so I haven't done any blogging since Will's birthday, I know, I'm horrible at this. But there has been a lot that has happened since then! I don't really know where to start, but we will travel back in time to Labor Day weekend. We went up to our family cabin in the Uintas, and Will, the girl's and I went on a few little hiking adventures. We got some cute family pics from there.

At the end of September, we drove around Alpine Loop, by Sundance, and got some great pictures of the changing fall colors, and some cute family pics as well.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO WILL!!!

Yesterday was Will's birthday. He is 27!! old, old, old. ;-) I just wanted to let him know that all of us girls are so glad he is part of our family. He is a great husband, and daddy, and is a hard worker. We found out he actually needs 3 more credits for school until he is officially graduated, but it has turned out to be for the best right now. He is taking 2 classes now, and trying to get a part time job as well. Thanks for all you do hun, and Happy Birthday again!

(This photo was taken by Kaela Cusack of bokeh photography. www.bokehphotos.com. If you go to her blog, you can check out more of our family pics. I will add some more onto here as we get them.)

IT'S PARTY TIME!

"E"'s birthday party was so much fun. I think she had a good time. She was a little bit unsure of all of the people there for her, but she warmed up a little bit, even though she got pretty tired out. Here's some cute pics of it all........

Opening presents.

She got some cute hair clips from her aunt Lindsey. They were adorable!

Cake time!!

Ladybug cake. I did my best. It turned out pretty cute.

Diggin' in!

She LOVED it once she got started.

FULL.

Anyways, we had a good time, and thanks to everyone who came! We probably don't need to do shopping for Christmas now from all of the toys she got. LOL They will entertain her for quite sometime. Thanks!

"E" Can Crawl!

I put together a few clips of "E" crawling, FINALLY! She is over 11 mos. old now. It's ok though, she just wanted to wait until she could do it right. ;-)

Capitol Reef Trip!

We went on our annual trip down to Torrey/Capitol Reef over the 24th of July weekend. It was a lot of fun, as always! Here's some cute pics of the good times:

This is a pic of the girls on the drive down there. This 'moment' did not last very long at ALL. But it was nice while it lasted.

The Covington's have a thing for 'rock hunting'. It seriously runs in the genes. "W" definitely has it. We have a bottle full of rocks. They found some fossilized seashells too.

This was the second lizard I spotted. They are so cute!

"E" fell asleep in the car, stayed asleep while putting her into this carrier, and still stayed asleep while we put her back into the car. What a nice girl.

Bein' cute.

A common scene: Grandma surrounded by grandkids.

Will and "W" looking at some deer over the fence. "W" loves to do everything daddy does.

4th of July Treat!

This is the picture of the cake I made for the 4th! It's the only pic I have of the whole day.....I don't know why, it must have been a highlight. ;-)
